What is your favorite red wine: Sangiovese or Shiraz?

Posted by admin on November 29, 2008 under shiraz

Vintage? Winery?

A recent find is the Australian Yellow Tail Shiraz-Grenache. Great body, low acid, nice dryness, with full berry notes. Goes great with a variety of foods - from hearty Italian red sauces to roasts and stews. You can't beat the price either.

I have an arbor with grapes growing on it, and have had a problem with racoons eating them! Any suggestions?

Posted by admin on November 29, 2008 under grapes

For the last 2 years, the racoons have made a mess under my arbor by throwing all of the grape skins on the ground. How can I stop them from getting at my grapes before I do?

if you can get it, they sell extract from the scent glads of predators suck as bobcats etc. you can order this oline at hunting sites i believe. the smell of that type of predator will chase away most pest. plus the smell is hideous

My friend french kissed a guy at age 10. Is that ok?

Posted by admin on November 29, 2008 under standish

It was kind of weird. In the summer my friend and I went to this camp in Standish. We went to this teen dance with our new friends and this 13 year old guy named Josh took her to the dance. After like 30 mins. of dancing she was already going behind the building and french kissing him and she was only 10! Is that ok?

wow 10? i think thats kinda early but then again thats he business and her problem. just tell her wat u think but dont get her mad or anything.

How do you pronounce "Shiraz" red wine?

Posted by admin on November 27, 2008 under shiraz

To answer Miss Gabby's semi-obnoxious question… when you've been studying the Craft of Intelligence for your mid-term that's tomorrow for the past 3 and a half hours, your mind tends to drift towards alcoholic beverages.

I think your confusion on the pronunciation lies in the fact that in Australia it is spelled shiraz, but in france they spell it Syrah. In any case the first is shi-razz and the latter, see-rah. Same grapes, different country.

How are Chilean grapes packed and put in grocery stores?

Posted by admin on November 27, 2008 under grapes

How do grapes from Chile get to the US, and how are they packed and sent to grocery stores?

Any information helps. Thanks!
Also, are they packaged while in Chile or once they are in the US?
